The Service History, Merchandising & Invoicing System is designed as a complete merchandising, invoicing and service history system for the service department. When a customer arrives at the service counter or calls by phone, a service advisor can instantly display customer information, including vehicle description, delivery date, information on last service visit, and more, by simply entering a Vehicle ID or other identifying information such as home phone number, on a terminal located in the write up area. With the push of a button, the complete service history of the car and the recommended maintenance can be displayed and the repair order printed with this information. When maintenance is completed, this information is entered into the system and the repair invoice is automatically calculated and printed, the service history is updated and transactions are automatically sent to the accounting system.
