It will give the Service Repair Order dispatcher complete electronic control of the distribution and monitoring of all opened repair orders from writer to dispatcher to technician to booker and finally to invoicing, without the
need to pass paper documents from person to person. This system assumes that each Technician has access to a dedicated terminal or login session and will electronically receive and process their assigned repair orders. The service dispatch system is dependent upon the Auto/Mate Service Merchandising
system to automatically generate On-Line Repair Orders as each Service Repair Order is opened, and therefore is not available as a stand-alone module.
