Clifton Park, New York - Auto/Mate has continued to experience growth despite automotive manufacturer plant closings, slowing vehicle sales and decreasing dealership profits because it empowers dealerships to become more efficient and cost effective in managing day to day operations.

In business for nearly 30 years, Auto/Mate has been growing at a rate of 35% per year. Auto/Mate now has over 350 dealership clients for its dealership management software solution.  This is a stark contrast to the automotive manufacturers and car dealerships it serves.

Consistently rated above larger, well-known competitors by users in industry surveys, Auto/Mate somehow manages to remain somewhat of a secret to the very industry until it outperformed competing dealership system solutions in each of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) 2005 Dealer Satisfaction Surveys.

The recently released results of the 2005 Dealer Satisfaction Survey of Dealership System (DSPs) Providers show a decline in overall satisfaction with DSP vendors from 82 percent in 2003 to 78 percent in 2005.   

Despite these results, Auto/Mate’s customers rated their overall satisfaction with the Auto/Mate’s solution at 87 percent.

The NADA survey research is meant to improve the quality of Dealership Management Systems provided to dealers.  For the survey, phone interviews were conducted with 1,434 dealership personnel including dealer principals and general managers, sales managers, service managers, parts managers, and office managers and controllers.  The study’s margin of error is +/- 2.5 percent.
