Auto/Mate Selects Experian® to Provide AutoCheck® Vehicle History Reports to Dealers

CLIFTON PARK, NY (August 19, 2009) – Auto/Mate Dealership Systems (www.automate.com) today announced a new integration relationship with Experian Automotive to provide the company’s AutoCheck® vehicle reports to Auto/Mate’s dealer clients using AutoCheck FreeLinkSM technology. Dealers will be able to quickly and easily get AutoCheck reports for prospective customers using Auto/Mate’s popular, low-cost Automotive Management Productivity Suite (AMPS).

The AutoCheck Score distills large amounts of vehicle information into a simple, numeric score listed as a number from one to 100. This process capitalizes on Experian’s world-class expertise in collecting, interpreting, analyzing and packaging information in a way that people can easily understand and use.

 

The AutoCheck Score accurately summarizes the individual items and events in a vehicle’s history in a way that consumers can readily understand, including accidents or frame damage, mileage, odometer history, number of owners, emissions history, whether it has ever been repossessed or stolen or used as a government vehicle, police car or taxi, along with title brands such as Flood, Junk and Salvage. The report also includes an AutoCheck Score Range, which compares the car to other vehicles of similar age and class to better help consumers when evaluating a used vehicle.
